Parking
Parking is extremely limited at Berkeley Lab. While every effort will be made, we may not be able to accommodate all parking requests. We strongly urge you to carpool, or to utilize the Berkeley Lab bus service (described below) where possible. If you must drive, please indicate so in the appropriate section on the registration form (closed) .
Berkeley Lab Bus Service
Berkeley Lab
operates a complimentary Bus Service, with buses that run on a regular schedule, and which can be boarded at the Downtown Berkeley BART station, as well as at various locations in downtown Berkeley. It is easily accessible from several Berkeley hotels. While both the Blue and Orange buses will take you to Building 66 Auditorium (location of the meeting), the Orange bus will get you there in the shortest time.
Please be aware that unless you have a DOE badge, UCOP badge, or a UC Berkeley student / faculty badge, you must show a bus pass and government-issued photo ID to the bus driver when boarding. To obtain a bus pass (which will be emailed to you) please indicate that you will be utilizing the lab bus service in the appropriate section on the registration form (closed), or send email to Yeen Mankin.
Taxi Service
Taxis may enter the lab to drop visitors off (and pick them up) at Building 66.
