Note: The Workshop will be using/demonstrating H.239 (people and content) with a VSX-8000 from PolyCom and the Codian MCU.....
1. All Viewgraphs will be displayed in the H.323 video stream AND will be available on-line here: http://hpcrd.lbl.gov/ESnetCollab/05Presentations.htm
2. ESnet registered H.323 users can dial either: 85123456 (Radvision MCU) or 88123456 (Codian MCU). The advantages to the Codian are: individual control of your display using far end camera control up and down and left and right arrows and full transcoding allowing connection at any bit rate. GDS H.323 users: Dial 001134988123456 or 001134985123456.
3. Audio participants can call: 1-510-883-7860, then at the announcement dial either: 85123456#, or 88123456#. You can view the viewgraphs at the web site given in #1 above.
4. Streaming viewers can view the Workshop: Using your browser go to this URL: http://198.128.3.172. In the first screen that shows up. Put your name in the correct field, then the Conference ID is 123456, no PIN, Select your desired streaming rate, click to play audio and main video and view content, then select Quicktime or REAL. Click on "Stream This Conference". You will need a browser with Java enabled, but, you should see the slides and the people. You also have a chat capability.
5. Problems? Write to ecs-admin@es.net. We will be monitoring emails
throughout the conference. Mike will also monitor MSN IM. We sent out
his address in the emails to remote participants.
